TIME LOST originally was a heavy metal band from the suburban Frankfurt (Main) area, Germany. The band was formed back in 1998 by longtime-musicians (two guitars, bass, drums, vocals) and played several live-shows in and around Frankfurt.
TIME LOST released their debut album “Beyond Eternity” on CD in 2000, completely independent, self-produced, self-financed. The album contained 11 songs and 50 minutes of powerful and melodic metal music.
Starting out as a heavy metal band in the classical and traditional sense – as you can hear on the album – TIME LOST later incorporated more progressive concepts in their songwriting. To support this element, the band recruited a keyboarder in April 2000.
In 2001, TIME LOST went on hiatus, while the different band members pursued other careers, got married, became fathers and went their separate ways all over Germany.
25 years after their last gig, TIME LOST is back in 2026! The band decided to finally record and release the songs, which were planned for a second album back then. These songs were played live in 2000, but were never properly recorded. Now is the time!
